Absolutely loved this story. I have a hard time finding books I want to keep reading after a few pages. This time I had a hard time accepting it was over. Not because it didn't have a good ending, but because it was so good I wanted to keep reading. Somehow it
made me think of The Time Travelers Wife. I'm off to download more of your work. Thank you so much for sharing and please keep writing! You're great at it.
Thanks to bob37307 and mudie for your positive comments. This is a personal favourite of mine, written a long time ago now - good to see it being downloaded and read. Appreciate the feedback.
I thoroughly enjoyed this easy to follow, thought provoking tale. From the first page in you are drawn to stick with it to learn a little more, all the while wondering what is coming next with it all so smoothly leading up to a tender and memorable ending.
Nice story. Definitely makes me think of Robert Silverberg's short story,"The Man Who Never Forgot" published in 1958, I think, in Fantasy & Science Fiction. A topic that always fascinated me, as I would see people I met one time 10 or more years ago in passing, and they would think I was lying or conning them when I called them by name & gave specifics of our only meeting. Until something kicked in sometimes and they remembered small pieces themselves, though not me, and realized I was telling the truth. Usually they would be astonished to be remembered, and thought it would be great to have such a great memory. But mostly it was just frustrating. So I had to read your story. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I have also read some of your other writings. I am trying to read more after this story, my favorite so far.
