I absolutely LOVED this book - very rarely do I find a book that I can't put down but this one did it for me. Cole is certainly not the "Prince Charming" poised to rescue a whiny, emotionally underdeveloped "heroine". Victoria is independent and somewhat headstrong but emotionally wounded and guarded. I found her instantly likable. Jan, an excellent foray into original fiction. Personally, I'd love to see Black Silk develop into a series. Looking forward to seeing more original fiction pieces!
